  • BLCI and RCCG hold Breakfast meeting for women Leaders

    Bread of Life Church International (BLCI) Women of Integrity in conjunction with Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) Good Fellowship Women held an early breakfast with the women leaders on 19th November 2011 at Tag Pamodzi Hotel in Lusaka.

    Ministering during the breakfast was Pastor Mrs. Folu Adeboye, wife to the general overseer of RCCG. The theme for this meeting was, 'The Woman God Uses' from Ezekiel 22.30. Mrs Adeboye encouraged the women to be mothers in society who should take care of the needy. It is important that you make the right decisions especially that of going back to school. A woman God uses takes good care of her home, children and the church by getting involved fully. 

    In attendance was guest of honour Her Excellency Mrs F Marcus Bello High Commissioner of the Federal of Nigeria, Bishop Nelly Chikwanda, General Secretary Christian Council of Zambia (CCZ), Pastor Mrs. Bernadette Imakando, Pastor Mrs Godfridah Sumaili, Pastor Mrs L Kapulu, Pastor Mrs Y Adeloye and women leaders from various churches.

     Inter denominational Ministers Conference:

     

    Later the same day, Pastor Adeboye (blue suit), Bishop Joe Imakando (second right), Rev Pukuta Mwanza (l), Rev. Susan Matala (r) and other ministers attended the conference at government complex in Lusaka.

    Speaking during the meeting, Pastor Adeboye spoke to the ministers on a topic entitled, 'What can stop the flow of the Holy Spirit'. Things such as:

    • Pride - Proverbs 11.2, Prov 16.18, Prov 29.23
    • Getting God's glory - Isaiah 42.8, Dan 4.24-37
    • Materialism - 1John 15.17
    • Lust of the flesh - Gal 5.17
    • Lack of self control - 1Cor 9.24
    • Sin - Amos 3.3
    • Prayerlessness can stop the flow of the Holy Spirit.

  • 2011 Faith Explosion Conference in Kitwe

    Bread of Life Kitwe church will be hosting a power pact Faith Explosion conference. Starting from 6 - 9 December 2011 at its premises along Enos Chomba road next to the High Court. Speakers will include the host Presiding Bishop Joe Imakando and guest Rev. Nana Banyin. Starting time is 8.30hrs to 13.00hrs (Morning Sessions) and 14.30hrs to 20.00hrs (Afternoon Sessions). Registration is FREE! ALL ARE WELCOME! 

  • Dedication of The Blessing Centre

    The long awaited dedication of the Blessing Centre was held on 19th November 2011, the service was led by Pastor E.A Adeboye of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG). Thousands from within and outside the country attended the function among them were Political, Civic, Religious leaders and the general public.The occasion also saw people coming from far places like South Africa, New Zealand, England and USA. 

    The function started with a march by church members led by the various ministries from the old church on plot 136 Chinyunyu road Emmasdale to the Blessing Centre on Vubu road. The congregation witnessed the cutting of the ribbon and unveiling of a plaque by Pastor E.A Adeboye. Later, the ministries marched into the Blessing Centre auditorium to show case the ministries that are in Bread of Life Church International. The ministries include: Youth, Young Adults, Women, Men, Hospitality, Intercession, School of Ministry, Music, Choir, Ushers, Protocol, Bread of Life School, Home Based Care, Deaconate, Counselling and Children.    

  • Bread of Life Church Statement over Blessing Centre Incident

    Bread of Life Church International regrets the incident that happened on Saturday 19th November 2011 during the Dedication Service of the Blessing Centre. During the special service just when Presiding Bishop Joe Imakando was about to invite the guest speaker Pastor E. A Adeboye to preach and dedicate the building, a strong storm came in from the eastern side and blew off a piece of the ceiling which hit one of the members severing his face. The Elders rushed him to hospital, unfortunately he was pronounced dead upon arrival.

    The storm also left a trail of destruction in the neighborhood resulting in roofs ripped off, security walls brought down, loss of lives, trees falling on a car to mention but a few.

    As Bread of Life Church we wish our deepest condolences to the entire church family in general and in particular the family of Mr. Arton Nyirenda. We also pray for the community at large and families in the Emmasdale area whose properties and homes were also damaged by the storm.

  • Men of Destiny Sunday

    Sunday 13th November 2011 was men’s Sunday and Bread of Life church International Men’s ministry known as the “Men of Destiny” (MoD) led the services. An all male praise team that composed of pastors, elders, deacons and ordinary men was the highlight of the services as they led the congregation in powerful praise and worship. The men of destiny Ministry is one of the main ministries of the church. It is the ministry responsible over all the men of the church. The ministry strives to nature and groom men who will impact  their communities and the nation.
  • BLCI holds last Joint Service at old Emmasdale Church

    Bread of Life Church International Lusaka on Sunday 6th November 2011 held the last joint service at the Emmasdale church (plot 136 Chinyunyu road). It was the last as the church prepares to move to the Blessing Centre on 19th of November. All the branch churches including Lusaka west, Kalundu, Chawama and Kanyama and for the first time Chilanga and Kafue church were in attendance. The service was filled with an air of excitement as the congregation praised God with songs led by the various praise teams from the branches.

  • Bishop Imakando in Western province

    Bishop Joe Imakando was in Western Province of Zambia for Three Days of Power conference in Mongu and a One day conference in the town of Lukulu. The meetings were power packed as Bishop taught and ministered with authority and the power of God was manifest as many were touched by God. Hundreds gave their lives to the Lord and were delivered from demonic oppression.

  • Dedication of the Blessing Centre - 19th November

    The long awaited opening of the Blessing Centre is finally here. On the 19th of November 2011 Bread of Life church International (BLCI) and the rest the nation will witness the dedication of the Blessing Centre. The event will be graced by political, Civil and religious leaders.

    Presiding Bishop for Bread of life church Bishop Joe Imakando is honored to announce that to dedicate the building will be Pastor E.A Adeboye the general overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Nigeria.

  • Women of Integrity Sunday

    October 30th 2011 was Women of Integrity Ministry Sunday where hundreds of women participated in the call to bless the less privileged with food stuff.

    The ministry is divided into 4 districts each with a coordinator. Activities in the districts include:

    Women empowerment programmes

    • Financial schemes
    • Evangelism
    • Prayer meetings
    • Visitations

    The Women of Integrity executive lead by Pastors Bernadette Imakando and Godfridah Sumaili welcomed the newly appointed women elders and deaconesses by presenting them with gifts. These women have been identified to be in areas of leadership hence the need to cover them in the blood of Jesus and the need for them to be united.
