This year’s Easter Conference was characterize d with healings that church members experienced during the four days of total praise and worship to God.
The conference started on Friday 6th up to Monday 9th April 2012 at the newly opened Blessing Centre corner of Vubu and Lumumba roads in Emmasdale.
Presiding Bishop for Bread of Life Church International (BLCI) Joe Imakando opened commenced the conference with a message entitled, ‘Resurrection Breakthrough - Parts 1, 2 and 3’, John 11.1-6, John 11.17 and John 11.28-46
The Bishop mentioned that death is not final; there is life after death for a Christian.
Lazarus was sick
Christians also fall sick. In life there will be challenges. If you are going through a challenge, the best is to run to God. Have confidence in God.
Jesus delayed in coming
Verse 6, it seemed as it Jesus had delayed in coming. The delay of Jesus was for a purpose. Delay is not denial. Sometimes you cry to God and He seems silent, he may not do anything about the problem but He will give grace to go through it all. That problem will not kill you. He may seem to delay but he’s processing your situation. It is not about an individual but about the glory of God.
Lazarus died
Jesus allowed Lazarus to die. God also allowed Jesus to die on the cross and that is how we got redemption. Death symbolizes completion; Jesus paid the price for our salvation. At the cross we met God. Death is separation of body and spirit; learn to allow certain things to die so that the new would come. Whatever problem dies, God will make a way for you.
Mary went to meet Jesus
Mary was disappointed with Jesus and put the blame on him that her brother had died. Do not blame anybody for your actions be responsible.
When you go through trials Jesus feels your pain and he weeps with you John 11. 35.
Jesus raised Lazarus
Lazarus had been dead for four days and his body smelled. You may also have a ‘smelling’ problem but Jesus will never leave you nor forsake you. If Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, what is barrenness, sickness or financial hardship to Him? Trust in Him that He will come through for you.
The Bishop encouraged the congregation that they will experience resurrection breakthrough because there is no situation that is too hard for God. Look to Jesus because He has the final say, you are breaking through.
Bishop Thabo Masenya also took the conference to another level and preached on having faith in God, that one day God will fulfill his promise. God never loses a battle, though it may seem silent but keep believing, like a submarine which images after the end of the journey, you shall also see the fulfillment of your total healing, a job, a good business and restored marriage.
Bishop Thabo also prayed for Zambia and broke every spirit that wants to bring confusion.
