  • Chipata Three Days of Power Conference

It was a joyous occasion for Bread of Life Church in Chipata, Eastern province, to host the Three Days of Power conference in their newly built auditorium for the very first time, breaking the tradition of meeting in hired school halls. The church building which is almost completed is situated in the industrial area of Chipata town.

  • Men's Conference

Bread of Life Church International Men of Destiny conference successfully took place from 11th to 13th May 2012 at the Blessing Centre in Lusaka with several delegates across the country attending in great anticipation for God's divine performance in their lives.

The presiding Bishop for Bread of Life Church Joe Imakando opened the men's meeting in the evening of Friday under the theme: POSITIONING MEN FOR DIVINE PERFORMANCE where he challenged men with a message titled: "God is Looking for a Man", from Genesis 6:5-10.

The Bishop said it grieved God when He saw the first mankind he created on earth had become wicked. He pledged to bring destruction and wiped them all from the face of the earth. But there was one man Noah who was righteous whom He chose to be the one He would use to rescue other human race from total destruction.

"I want to challenge you that even today wickedness is around us and it has grieved God and His eyes are looking to and fro for a man like Noah to use to bring change in Zambia". The Bishop said.

The Bishop challenged the men to emulate the righteousness of Noah.

"My prayer is that may the Holy Spirit choose you to be that man who is different from the rest amidst wickedness. When you look at the Zambian society today, it is sick with cases of defilement and other immoral activities".

The Bishop said even if a lot had compromised, God was looking for men who could bring change, blameless and holiness in our country.

"As a child of God are you walking in purity? Don't compromise just because everyone is doing wrong but dare to be a unique man like Noah who fellowshipped with God in righteousness amidst moral decay. For God in days to come would want to see righteous men. Without holiness no man shall see God. God is expecting men to consistently walk with Him without giving up whether in good or bad times or ups and downs".

The Bishop further gave an example of King David who always sought God in perilous times.

"When David and his men were attacked at Ziglag and looted of their possessions including their children and wives, they wept until they could cry no more. But when the men plotted to stone David, he encouraged himself in the Lord because he knew what it meant to walk with God. In this time of hopelessness, I pray that God will look up and see you from all the men in your town.

God is attracted to a man who is holy and blameless. God found David as a man after his own heart. When people ignore your sacrifice God will see you. God has worked through a man from Genesis to Revelation. When Adam had sinned, God used another man Jesus to redeem the world. When God uses a woman it means a man has failed to turn up. You are the man God wants to use just remain consecrated". Concluded the Bishop.

Other guest preachers included Bishop Harrison Sakala (Pentecostal Assembly of God), who preached on positioning men for divine performance.

Bishop Jean Chama (Family Worship Center) took the conference to another level when she on marriage, titled what a woman wants.

Speakers from within Bread of Life Church were: Reverend Patrick Simushi (l) and Reverend Kangwa Mumba (r).
