An atmosphere of jubilation filled the house as people danced and praised the Lord for His goodness throughout the night.

Just before midnight, his Grace Presiding Bishop Joe Imakando gave a key note message unveiling the theme of the year: “Year of Fruitfulness”
He preached from Genesis 1:27-28 and Daniel 1:20.

This year 2010 is a year of fruitfulness we have just come from the year of manifestation and many have been manifested, it was a year of great and unusual manifestations, but every good thing comes to an end.

But this year will build upon last year’s success just as in Daniel 1:20. Daniel and the other three Hebrew young men were found to be ten times better than the others, this year will be ten times better than last year, you will become fruitful.

We are entering a season of fruitfulness; God desires that you become fruitful, when a season comes it brings about change, cooperate with it, whether you like it or not you will be fruitful, said the Bishop.

1.    A command to be Fruitful
The first words that God spoke to man were “Be fruitful” To be fruitful means bearing fruits, he set the principle of fruitfulness.
Fruit is the visible expression of power. There is a fruit that is inside you that will come out, Psalm 92:12.

We are now entering a season were you will bear fruit. God is the one who gave the command to be fruitful.
Fruitful in: Business, work, marriage.

Your portion will be that of fruitfulness, it’s an anointing for multiplication, an anointing for increase.

2. You have the potential to be fruitful
There is a seed in you, God has deposited a seed in you and every fruit has a seed in it. There is power to produce in that seed, the seed gift in you will produce.

3. The Seed gift in you will produce fruit
A seed when planted will produce a fruit tree and fruit tree has fruit. A seed has power to multiply when planted. Every believer has a seed. Often times the seed comes in small packages and we deposit it. Value is not in the size of the gift until you value what you have it will grow.

What is your seed gift? Let it grow, plant it, it is useless until you commit it to the ground.

This year will be a year of stepping out, trust God.

There is need to follow your heart because that is where your fruitfulness is. This is the year to pray the prayer of Jabez. Some will have an overcoming spirit.

This year you will definitely be fruitful whatever it takes you will make it this year. God will definitely come through for you this year.

And just seconds before midnight Bishop Imakando led the church in a count down into the New Year 2010. After which came jubilation, prayer and finally Bishop led the congregation in declarations, declaring fruitfulness.

Your Decision Today

Evaluation is a revealing process. We evaluate ourselves in many ways. We balance our checkbooks to make sure our finances are in order. We look at ourselves in a mirror to see whether our clothes  are looking right. We need to evaluate our spiritual lives as well.
