| Covenant Builders Cocktail Party |

Bread of Life Church held a Cocktail party for covenant builders on Friday 19th February at the Blessing Centre site.
Covenant builders are people who have partnered with the church to build the Blessing Centre.
The beginning of the blessing centre project was slow and the work was hard. The Chinese say, ‘a journey of many miles begins with one step.’ By the grace of God we will complete. Sometimes, the work has been slow but it has now gathered speed and he applauded the building partners for their contribution towards the project. The Bishop further declared that this year the roof will stand. We have been running the race and we still have a distance to go before the finishing line. This is not a time to slacken because we are almost there. He then thanked the Engineers from Uganda for the work they have expertly done.
Chief Elder Amos Lwabila also led the covenant builders through a tour of the building project explaining in detail the stage and work currently being under taken. Most covenant builders were overwhelmed by the magnitude of the project and surprised at the progress at the site.
The Project Manager later explained that currently they were working on the final ring beam upon which the roof will sit and that they have just finished fabricating 6 traces (steel) each of these steel traces weighs a staggering 8 tons. The next stage is to make a big trace that will cover the pulpit area. A compression ring to hold the traces together is being fabricated in South Africa and will be segmented for easy transportation into Zambia and assembled later. According to the projection the roof structure will be completed by June this year.
Finally, Bishop Imakando offered the partners a chance to review their pledges and continue to partner in this great work of building the sanctuary. Become a partner today. Contact Us! +260 211 220188
