Bishop Joe Imakando dated the youths and young adults of Bread of Life on Sunday 21st February in the afternoon. The auditorium was packed to capacity with youths from Emmasdale, Kanyama and Chawama churches and from institutions of learning like the University of Zambia, Colleges and High schools.
Bishop Joe Imakando applauded the youths for their commitment to the work of God and to prayer, which has seen them experience steady growth thus gaining influence as a ministry. Among the leaders present were: Pastor Oscar Mumba - Youth Pastor, Jackson - Youth Chairman, Bruno - Chongwe branch Trainee Pastor, Sam Matika - Young Adults Chairperson to mention but a few.
As the J G (Joshua Generation) prepares to take over, character and discipline are keys to a fruitful future. Bishop later preached from Psalm 1:1-3, a sermon entitled: ‘A blessed Youth’. Gods plan for us his children is that we should be successful in life, relationships, studies, business and work. In Psalm 1, David lets us into the secret of success. It depends on our choices, choices are what you do and don’t do. There are some things that you should not do. When you do certain things you will be fruitful, success is not by chance it’s by choice and must be planned for. What a blessed youth does not do
But must meditate on the word of God
Philippians 4:8 Set aside quality time for meditation. Find time for the word of God because it will establish you. You will be rooted and bear fruit in and out of season. |
