Women’s Day Celebrations

Bread of Life Church women joined the rest of the world in commemorating the International Women’s  Day which fell on Monday 8th March.

With the Theme,  "Equal rights, Equal opportunities, Progress for All".

And this year’s celebrations attracted a lot of women from various walks of life ranging from the military, government, civil society, business and religious circles who marched along Lusaka’s great East road from Munali to the Mulungushi Conference Center where the Republican Vice President Honorable George Kunda later addressed  them.

Mr. Kunda encouraged all stakeholders to continue working together to create a conducive environment where men and women would have equal rights and opportunities to contribute and benefit from the development of the Nation.

This year’s theme ‘Equal rights, equal opportunities, progress for all’ was a pillar which formed the foundation of society today and had continued to guide the policy formulation and legal framework processes.

“In this area of decision making and in line with international protocol, the Government remains committed to the African Union solemn declaration of gender equality in Africa which requires member States to achieve gender impartiality in decision-making positions”.

Your Decision Today

Evaluation is a revealing process. We evaluate ourselves in many ways. We balance our checkbooks to make sure our finances are in order. We look at ourselves in a mirror to see whether our clothes  are looking right. We need to evaluate our spiritual lives as well.
