| Livingstone Three Days of Power |
|
Bishop Joe Imakando was in Zambia’s tourist capital “Livingstone City” for a “Three days of Power” conference. The conference was held at Hindu hall from 16th to 18th July 2010. From the first day, the main hall was filled to capacity including the two over flows where projector screens were setup. The hunger for the word of God was evident in people, in this year of fruitfulness as they braced themselves for the word that would project them into their fruition. Southern Province Bread of Life overseer Pastor Makiseni Bambe, all the Pastors from the various Districts in the province and other leaders were in attendance. Bishop Imakando opened the conference with a sermon from Genesis 25 entitled: "You are carrying destiny". The Bishop highlighted situations in the Bible were cases of barrenness led to Gods purposes being fulfilled. He gave examples of women like Hannah, Rebbecca and Elizabeth all of which endured years of shame and ridicule because of barrenness. Barrenness can be reversed, God wants to end your barrenness this year, be it in marriage, business, work or ministry. In whatever situation you are going through there is hope for you.
This year God has you on His agenda, He has a plan to bless you. The Bishop also preached and taught on faithfulness as the key to fruitfulness. When you are faithful with the little that God has given, you will be given more. Promotion only comes after you faithfully handle the current position. God is able to move you "from little to much", in 2 kings 4:1-7, the widow and her son were supernaturally blessed by God when the man of God came into their situation and spoke a word of fruitfulness. The widow heard the word, accepted it and acted on it. Whatever situation you may be going through, God will pull you through. He will move you from little to much. Enough to abundant, all you need to do is take it to God, be attentive to His word, believe it and act on it.
The conference closed with an anointing service, where many were delivered from the clutch of the devil. And many more gave their lives to the Lord. The Bishop also prayed and prophesied to a group of women faced with bareness. Bishop Imakando also took time to give the people of Southern Province a chance to partner and renew their commitment to supporting the Bread of Life Church weekly telecast “Hour of Blessing”.
