Bishop Joe Imakando was on Thursday 22nd July to 24th at the University of Zambia (UNZA), for a three days of power conference. The conference was held in the new dinning, the anointing and power of God was awesome and evident as Bishop ministered to the students at the country’s highest institution of learning. Bread of life church puts much emphasis on the student ministry as it is the making ground for future leaders. Bishop has been ministering at the university since 1978. The Conference was hosted by UNZA Bread of life fellowship under the leadership of Pastor Oscar Mumba.
Bishop opened the conference with a powerful sermon from the Gospel of Luke 15:11 on the prodigal son were he emphasised on the need to return to God.
Whatever you have done Gods heart is full of mercies, return to Him and He is faithful and just to forgive you. On the Second day, Bishop Preached on the power of a Dream - Genesis 37:5, The world has been shaped and transformed by dreams, dreams build nations and generations.
The purpose of this is to:
You may look ordinary but you have a seed of destiny. Dreams are from God: Jacob, Joseph and Daniel, all had dreams from God. Dreams give you direction and they reveal destiny. But a dream can die.
You need to know that failure is not final. When you fail try again till you succeed. God has you at heart, He wants you to succeed. In this year of fruitfulness you shall be fruitful. As you study at the university keep your eyes on the dream of having an education, cast aside all potential detours, if you fail try again till you make it.
