Sunday 24th July 2011, was dedicated to the school of ministry to minister to the congregation in all the church services. The school is a product of the overall church vision whose rallying cry is bringing thousands into the kingdom.
This church vision gave birth to the school of ministry because bringing many thousands into the kingdom requires a lot of workers in the harvest. This need for many co-workers saw the genesis of the school of ministry. This happened about 13years ago.
Objectives and goals for the school
As a theological school, the school of ministry has remained true to its objectives which are:
- To properly and appropriately equip the body of Christ for effectiveness and productivity
- To prepare the body of Christ for taking the lead in leadership in spheres of influence (spiritual, economical, social and political)
- Help the body embrace the vision of bread of life church and
- Create a desire of carefully studying scriptures and living them out
The 2011 school of ministry intake which started on 17th February successfully enrolled thirty one students. The current theme for the church, ‘year of unprecedented blessing has enabled the students to have faith in God that will take them to another level of blessing though character growth and a life of dependency upon God though prayer and a deep passion for God’s word.
School of ministry Principle, Rev. Teddy Kamfwa thanked Presiding Bishop Dr. Joe Imakando for the privilege given to serve God through the ministry.
Meanwhile, the 2012 intake scheduled to commence in February 2012 at the Blessing Centre will have the privilege of learning in modern facilities such as lecture halls and library.
