Three Days of Power in Kasama

The conference which took place from the 21st to 23rd of June 2012 was preceded by Bishop Joe Imakando’s visit to Mbala and Mpulungu Bread of Life Churches.

While in Mbala, Bishop Imakando held a special service to dedicate the newly constructed church building to God. In his message entitled, “Blessed to bless,” the Bishop reminded the congregation that the house of God they were blessed with was not only a blessing to the members but to Mbala town as a whole. He further encouraged the church to be a blessing to the work of God by completing the house of God, which was about 80% complete, with beautiful finishing touches.

And on his way to Kasama, Bishop made a stopover in Mpulungu where he visited the construction site of the church building which had reached roof level. He also took time to pray to God for resources and its quick completion.

The conference in Kasama was well attended with many people sitting and others standing in over flow tents pitched around the main auditorium which could not accommodate the crowds throughout the period. The conference was also attended by a delegation from Mbeya Bread of Life Church of Tanzania.

In his first message “You will Laugh” Bishop Imakando encouraged the church to trust God for a turnaround in various issues that seemed hopeless in their lives citing the situation of Abraham and Sarah, Genesis 18:9 -15, 21:1, who were blessed with a son in their old age. The message raised people’s faith and the subsequent meetings were awesome.

The following day was unique as the power of God touched several people with many manifesting demonic oppression in the overflow tents as Bishop preached. A total of 157 people gave their lives to Jesus and many were set free from demons.

The conference ended with an anointing service around 20:00hours leaving many people on the floor and the church grounds under the power of God. Pastors and some church leaders had to remain behind to minister to some people as late as 23:30hours.
