Go Forward
Exodus 14:21-31
There is a tendency in us of wanting to go back when we meet challenges of life. We think of going back to the old life, job, business and relationships. And so, sometimes God would close a door so that we can go forward, an indication that it’s time to move on.
Closed doors come in many forms such as the loss of a promising job with good prospects or when a business with great potential goes under.
Bill Gates experienced a closed door when he was dismissed from employment, but he went on to establish Microsoft in his mothers garage and became the richest man in the world.
Closed doors are a blessing in disguise; God uses closed doors to move us forward. What you think was planned to finish you off is actually a means to your breakthrough.

The children of Israel were excited after a glorious deliverance from slavery in Egypt. But as they were approaching the Red sea, they looked back and saw a cloud of dust from afar. When they looked further, they noticed it was the army of Egypt following them. They were terrified, they looked to the right and left, there were mountains, in front was a red sea, so it was a dead end because they were trapped.
They cried to God and Moses. Then God divided the waters so they could cross on dry land. God told Moses again to lift the staff so the sea would close. The closed Red sea was for the children of Israel not to go back to Egypt. For their experience of slavery in Egypt was over.
God’s word is going forward, because God will make a way for you. God is about to part your red sea. Wait upon him until he makes a way for you. Christian faith is about going forward. But be willing to overcome challenges when a door closes.
Remember that, the same grace that opened your first door, will open your second door. Be positive about life. God is sending a message to you, that it’s time to go forward.
